Food Support
- Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP): SNAP can provide you with extra money on an EBT card each month for your food needs. If you have questions or need help to complete the application, please contact our Snap Outreach Specialist, Emily Bowman at 651-307-9033.
- Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP), Minnesota Food Assistance Program (MFAP), and Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS) are other programs that can also provide food support. Find out more by visiting our more detailed resource page.

Mental Health Support
- Washington County Mental Health Crisis Response: If you are in an emergency, call 1-651-275-7400 or text “MN” to 74174.
- Minnesota Warm Line: If you just need to talk, the MN Warm Line operates Monday-Saturday, 5pm-10pm. Call 651-288-0400 or text “Support” to 85511.
- Free Online COVID-19 Support Groups: Occurring Tuesdays and Fridays 7-8 pm over Zoom, facilitated by Mental Health Minnesota’s Outreach Coordinator, Samantha Hedden.
- Free Online Mental Wellness Classes: A large variety of topics and times to learn over Zoom, organized by NAMI Minnesota.
- Check-In Phone Calls: Sign up to receive phone calls from volunteers during this time of social distancing.

Medical Insurance
The COVID-19 open enrollment period ended April 21st, 2020, but enrollment is open year-round for people who experience qualifying life events. If you have had a recent change in circumstances, visit MNSure to find out if you qualify for a special enrollment period.
- Medical Assistance: Minnesota’s Medicaid program available to low-income families. You do not have to pay a monthly premium, and can enroll at any time in the year if you qualify.
- MinnesotaCare: Available to Minnesotans with low incomes who do not have access to affordable health care plans. You may have to pay a premium based on your household size and income.
Housing Support
- St. Andrew’s Community Resource Center (for homeless families with children): Call 651-762-9124 to schedule an intake appointment.
- Washington County Community Services (for homeless single adults and couples): Call 651-430-6488 to speak with someone who can connect you with social services and housing options.
- Youth Services Network: If you are 25 years old or under, visit the Youth Service Network website to find an available shelter bed.
